The T220 is a technical evolution of the SIM 420 current calibrator manufactured by Gometrics and backed by more than 25 years of experience. It is an excellent tool to perform verification of 0-20mA process current loops.

All Tinycal series instruments have a dual function: generation/simulation and measurement. The keys on the front panel of the instrument allow configuration for the generation of set values in engineering units or percentages. The panel keys also allow generation in steps that can be timed from 1 to 9 seconds per step, which is stored thanks to its 6 configuration keys. The instrument simulation – T240 and T250 – can be configured to simulate the sensor response (Pt100 or selected thermocouple type).

The measurement function is easily selectable with the IN/OUT button, as clearly indicated on the display, which indicates the value to be measured. To avoid possible connection or manipulation errors, the measuring circuit is protected against short-circuit and external voltage up to 30 V, ensuring a longer instrument lifetime. The T220 and T225 models of the Tinycal family are equipped with an integrated 24 V dc system, which allows the loop to be powered from the calibrator (active mode), or voluntarily in passive mode.

All instruments of the Tinycal family offer high accuracy and high resolution measurements, which, together with their ease of use, high reliability and convenient transportation, as well as their low weight and small size, make them basic standards in an instrumentation workshop.
